Curly wave ferns thrive in filtered sunlight, direct sunlight can burn the leaves. It is important to keep the soil moist, not allowing the plant to sit in any access water as it can lead to root rot. You will need to re-pot your birds nest approximately every two to three years or if you notice the roots popping through the drainage holes.
