String of hearts require bright indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight will cause the leaves to burn, if you notice large spaces between the leaves your plant may not be getting enough light. String of hearts are part of the succulent family, they should only be watered once every one to two weeks allowing the water to drain. Over watering or leaving the plant sitting in water can lead to yellowing of the leaves and root rot. To keep your plant healthy ensure you choose a pot with drainage holes along with a light and airy soil.
